Turn of a "TERN"

If religion is faith, avian  behaviour depicted in its migratory habit...is a religion called 'nature' and photography is a tool to worship and connection to 'the creator'. But essence of passion of photography is deciphering truth and the creator finding the mystry of nature and its creator that enrich my atheist soul.


 

Kaleejj pheasant male, found in the foot Himalayas till Thailand...three of its sub species are endangered...khalej valley tea garden in Darjeeling district is named after them. Their number has large been reduced due to human interference at present...eco tourism and human encroachment has its pitfall too.



Insectivorous bird...summer migratory from combodia...the female is strictly monogamous and a long courtship happens when the most eligible male convince the female with gifts of insects multiple times in an hour, and the female takes the test of his vitality making him fly for several hours...he has to make a large nest protected from raptors to impress his lady charming. Once she is convinced they raise family hence after starting from April.

 


Greater flamingoes found in eastern India on the coastal shores in folks only as winter migratory. In recent data lesser flamingoes number is decreasing.



Little Spider hunter, endemic in North Bengal...Latpanchar Rongtong, feeds on spider insects and nectar.

 



Purple heron migrate from central and south Europe, Africa. Wading birds found in wetlands, feed on snakes rodent insects...population is decreasing due to decrease in wetlands in India.
